We had a great week last week! Our visit to Elachee was fantastic! Check out the post below for a slideshow of some pictures. I took so many but didn't have the time to post them all :)
This week, we have the first week of spring! Hallelujah! I'm hoping that spring-like weather comes with the official start of the season.
Let's take a peek at what's coming up this week. Remember that Mr. Bryan is now teaching all classes!

BOOK FAIR IS COMING SOON! I'll be posting some titles that I recommend. Please consider purchasing from our Book Fair. It brings in funding to purchase new books for our library.
All students will go to the Book Fair with their second period teacher. See the following dates:
Monday, 3/24 Denly, Weiser
Tuesday, 3/25 Thompson, Chambers
Wednesday, 3/26 Kennedy, Dodd
SOCIAL STUDIES
(Mrs. Chambers's homeroom)
Mr. Bryan will be teaching about the Cold War for this unit, including the following topics:
LANGUAGE ARTS
Mr. Bryan is finishing Chapter 12 this week. The test will be on Tuesday. Beginning on Wednesday, students will start the Magazine Face-Off! They will have a few weeks to create a new magazine.
READING 1 and 2
HOMEWORK: Read 30 minutes every day.
Common Core ELA Standards
ALL LITERARY AND INFORMATIONAL STANDARDS
All students will be working in book groups to review all literary standards. Each week, Mr. Bryan will give students 1-2 CRCT-style practices for both literary and informational standards to prepare them for the test.
I will spend my time working with individuals as needed.
